KEELING, William - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

William A. Keeling, 71, died at his home Saturday, Nov 21 1959, following an illness of seven years. He had been seriously ill the past two weeks. He was born in Veedersburg on November 28 1887, son of Milton and Sidney Shipman Keeling. He was married in 1913 to Mary Payton, who died in 1943. In 1945, he was married to Oka Roe, who survives. Mr. Keeling was a member of the Modern Woodman Order and was a building contractor. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Francis Sanders of Ladoga; one son, Glenn of Veedersburg, two step daughters, Mrs. Anita Gaylor of Attica and Mrs. Sara Wisma of Urbana, O.; one sister, Mrs. Effie Warrick of Veedersburg; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at the Fishero Funeral Home with the Rev. Samuel Pritchard officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery. -- thanks, Betty D :)
